The library is currently in Stage 3: Curbside Service Only
- The library building is closed to the public
- Curbside Pickup Service is available during regular hours for materials and take-home crafts
- Phone reference is available during regular hours - call 248-887-2218 to place holds or with questions
- All programs are virtual or take-home (available by curbside pickup)
- No computers available
- No Friends donations accepted at this time
Curbside pickup of materials is still available - no appointment needed.
Late fines are currently suspended.
All items can be returned to the outside drop box. Returned items stay in quarantine for 3-4 days (and remain on your account during that time). Please contact us if your account shows items not returned.
- Due dates for checked-out items still apply. - Fees for lost or damaged materials will still be assessed. - Items marked lost that are then returned will have fees removed. - Please return all items in the outside drop box.
The Library will be closed on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25 for the Christmas Holiday. The library will be closed on Thursday, December 31 and Friday, January 1 for the New Year's Holiday.

| Take and Make: Ping Pong Pokeball Magic 8-Ball Pick up starting Monday, December 14 We did this craft in-person back in 2017 and it was a BLAST! We'll give you nearly everything you'll need in a kit (minus hot glue gun and cuticle scissors) to make your own Ping Pong Magic Eight-Ball from the comfort of your own home! | Take & Create: Augmented Reality Kit Available for pickup starting December 5. For ages 5 to 12 years. See the pages you color come to life in augmented reality. Sign up to get a kit that includes coloring pages and a book for learning more about the themes in the kit. Please note that you will need to download a free app to take advantage of this program.

| Take-and-Make STEM Kit Saturdays pick up (no registration) Saturday, Dec 12 For ages 5 to 12 years. We'll have a new STEM kit available for pick-up every other week. Stop by and get a neatly packaged kit containing everything you need for a simple STEM project. |
| Virtual Mother-Daughter Book Club Monday, December 7, 6:00pm For ages 8 to 12 years. Enjoy visiting with other book club members online! We will play a game and discuss a different book each month. Books will be available at the Circulation Desk when you register. This program will be in a Zoom format.

| Virtual Parent-Son Book Club Monday, December 14, 6:00pm For ages 8 to 12 years. Calling boys to enjoy a monthly book discussion and game! Would you like to solve a mystery one month, survive an adventure the next, and laugh yourself silly after that? Bring a parent and a snack. We will be reading mystery, fantasy, adventure, classics and humor.

| Take, Read, and Create: Lizards Register, then pick up starting December 28
Learn about Lizards and create your own Lizard Sun Catcher. Sign up to receive a themed packet that includes an age appropriate Lizard book and materials to create a window ornament that sparkles in the sun.

| Zoom in on Magic (Online) Tuesday, December 29, 2:00pm AND Saturday, January 2, 2:00pm Ages 8 and up. You're invited to join magician "Mysterious" Dave in an on-line class teaching a wonderful collection of fascinatingly easy magic tricks. Some of the magic will use common items such as a deck of playing cards, coins, etc. Other items will come from a special kit provided by Dave and your library.
