Come explore a different country each month as we snack our way around the world with Universal Yums! There will be crafts, games and trivia about each month's country, along with other fun activities that will vary each month. It's a fun way to explore new foods, meet new people and enjoy all kinds of fun shenanigans.

Finals Study Sesh

It's that time of the year when you've got to get your brain in gear and STUDY! We've got space for you to spread out, scratch equations or deep thoughts on our large whiteboard, munch some fresh-out-of-the-oven cookies, sip comforting drinks, and even take a mental break by working on a puzzle or playing a vigorous game of Klask. Just drop in our community room and find the study space of your dreams.  

Cold? Check out a book. You'll still be cold, but you'll have a book!

Time for some LEGO! Join us as we break out big tablefuls of LEGO for you to noodle around with. Make whatever you like - can you build the tallest tower? How about the rollllingest car? We'll also show all the LEGO mini-movies we can find (LEGO Scooby-Doo, LEGO Superheroes, and LEGO Star Wars).

Toddler & Preschool Storytimes

For toddlers or for preschoolers, with a caregiver.

Our storytimes include the simple pre-reading practices of talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing to help your child's language development. Register for one four-week session (10:30am or 11:30am). New this winter: our 11:30 Toddler Storytimes will be sensory-friendly!

Want to find the best fit for your little one? Come meet representatives from local preschools and find the best place for your child to learn and grow. Drop in any time between 10am and 1pm and meet and greet with folks from preschools in the community. 

Puzzle Swap

Sat Jan 20th | 10 to 11:30am

Do you have already-completed puzzles? Exchange them for new-to-you puzzles at our Puzzle Swap!

Drop off your puzzles at the adult reference desk anytime from January 8 - 18 and receive a coupon for each puzzle donated. Then visit us THIS MORNING to pick out fresh puzzles!
