July 1 - 31
all bundles $6, incl. ribbon & bookmark
Stop by the library any time during regular business hours and pick up a beautifully-bundled bunch of books! These gently-used beauties make a great gift anytime, and are a wonderful way to support the Friends, who in turn support the Library.
Take traditional games into a multi-dimensional world! Your child can create an animal and see it come to life in front of their eyes. A great family learning and play opportunity. Sign up to reserve a spot for your family to use the materials on your own in our space. Funding is provided in part by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library of Michigan.
We're looking forward to seeing you at the Highland Farmer's Market this Summer! Look for us on select Saturdays: July 10, July 24, August 7.
for Adult and Teens | Summer 2021
Handy with a pencil? We want your doodles and sketches! Check out a "traveling" sketchbook, create a drawing or two, and return it to the library. We're looking forward to posting your creations and seeing a great cross-section of talent in our community!
This summer's theme: ANIMALS (real or fantasy).

Enjoy a great story in the great outdoors! Read a picture book as you take a short walk through the woods next to the library.
Currently out is Dangerous! by Tim Warnes, a great story about pointed teeth and friendship. A perfect little jaunt to round out your day!
