Got recycling?
This summer's Household Chemical Roundup events were canceled in Douglas County due to public health concerns. If you have items piling up in your garage in need of recycling, here are some tips on where you can take them.

GreenSheen Paint
Recycle your paint for free at GreenSheen's Denver recycling facility, Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Click here for more information.

Earth911
Call 1-800-CLEANUP, or visit their website and simply type in the type of waste you are trying to recycle along with your zip code. Earth911 will identify nearby facilities where you can recycle your items. Click here to search Earth911.

Medication disposal
Visit the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment's website to identify locations near you that accept medication for disposal. Click here to begin your search.

E-recycling event August 8
Douglas County's third and final E-recycling event of the summer is taking place August 8 from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Echo Park Stadium in Parker. Click here to learn more about acceptable items and additional dates.
Mansion reopens in August
Historic tours during open hours have resumed at the Highlands Ranch Mansion. All historic tours will be self-guided and by appointment only. At this time, guided tours are not available.

Our knowledgeable volunteer docents will be on hand to provide additional information to visitors. Depending on interests, self-guided tours usually last less than one hour.

We appreciate visitors adhering to the following new public health guidelines when visiting the Mansion:

  • If you are sick or think you have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home. We are happy to reschedule your visit.
  • Visitors are required to wear a mask or face covering while inside the Mansion.
  • Please follow social distancing guidelines and stay at least six feet away from anyone outside of your household.

Please call 303-791-0177 for more information.
