As an institution, civil and criminal justice is a vital societal groundwork.The pursuit of that justice through legal service and representation is highly fulfilling, and it provides a sense of reward for the legal community. Legal practice is an industry that encompasses a broad variety of ways to create paths for fair and effective legal recourse. As we kick off the new year, we would like to highlight a crucial pillar of justice: pro bono work and its significance in New Mexico.

Upcoming VAP Pro Bono Collaborative ECHO CLE Sessions

The Volunteer Attorney Program (VAP) of New Mexico Legal Aid offers FREE CLE sessions through its Pro Bono Collaborative ECHO project. The VAP Pro Bono Collaborative ECHO is a resource and learning tool that seeks to expand the knowledge and expertise of volunteer attorneys across the state through tele-mentorship, while building a collaborative community of practice focused on the legal needs of low-income rural New Mexicans.
