Tell us about your business.

My dad started the business in 1979. What began as a small exterior-installation company has since grown into a new home construction business serving homebuyers across Maryland.

What inspired your dad to start his own business?

My dad began as a siding installer, following his father, who worked as a siding and tin salesman. Together, they installed windows and siding throughout Baltimore in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Over time, my dad expanded into remodeling and eventually into building new homes—creating the foundation for the family business we continue today.


What do you enjoy most about running your own business?

We’re a true family business, which means we get to work together every day. We also love building homes that we know our buyers will enjoy for many years. We build each home with the same care and quality as if our own families were going to live there.

What accounting-related challenges were you facing before partnering with Albert J. Bartlinski & Associates?

Before working with Al and Julie, our books were never completed correctly. Banks and investors always need accurate financials, and we couldn’t provide that consistently. Al and Julie made the process simple and reliable, helping us deliver strong reporting to our investors whenever needed.


How have our services helped your business?

They have help us to stay on top of tax reporting across multiple businesses. Navigating tax season without them would be incredibly difficult. Their guidance has saved us thousands of dollars in taxes each year.


What has been the biggest advantage for you—personally or professionally—since partnering with our firm?
