Highlights From the National Meeting

As a proud Philadelphian, I’ve always believed in the power of teamwork, grit, and loyalty. So it was a true honor that one of my first official acts as President & CEO of Pop Warner Little Scholars was to welcome our regional leadership and national partners to my hometown for our 2025 National Meeting last weekend. 

Ok, no excuse for booing Santa Claus but The City of Brotherly Love is about passion, resilience, and community. The same qualities I see in the people who make Pop Warner what it is, from our regional leaders to the league and association presidents; from the coaches and team moms to the athletes.

NATIONAL EVENT LOGOS REVEALED

Two New Events Join 2025 Nationals Week

When we move to Charlotte this December for the 68th Pop Warner Super Bowl and 38th Cheer & Dance Nationals, Pop Warner will be hosting two new events for the first time: the Queen City Crown Open for cheer & dance teams, and the Crown Classic flag football tournament. These will be open invitationals so both Pop Warner and non-Pop Warner teams will be eligible to participate. Pop Warner teams can sign up through priority registration starting September 1 before the events are opened to outside teams.

ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR BANQUET RETURNS

See You in Chicago Next Year, Scholars!

One of the highlights of the Pop Warner calendar has long been the All-American Scholars Banquet. It was a weekend celebration of thousands of Pop Warner student-athletes who achieved exceptional success in the classroom. When COVID hit we switched to a digital experience. Starting on March 21, 2026 in Chicago, we’re getting back together and restoring this Pop Warner tradition in style. Can’t wait.

POP WARNER CHEER & DANCE

YCADA Coaches Conference in Full Swing

Several Pop Warner coaches and leaders, including National Cheer & Dance Commissioner Lisa Moroski, are attending the YCADA Youth Coaches Conference this week. This annual event provides youth coaches with an opportunity to learn from industry experts, get hands-on training in developing their teams, and better understand rules and scoring.
