A rich time of united prayer
|
The powerful time of united prayer, which was convened by by Steering Committee Chairman, Dr. C. B. Peter Morgan from Jamaica, and led by a few designated leaders , focused on the following areas:
- The unity of the church
- Children at risk through abuse/neglect
- Biblically-based family and gender values
- The global economic crisis
- Corruption in the public sector
- Sickness and disease
- Ethnocentrism
- Terrorism
Please continue to keep these concerns in your prayers.

A great experience, being led in prayer by some of the next generation of prayer leaders.
|
In addition to the leadership of parachurch groups like Concerts of Prayer Greater New York, CONLICO, Christian Union, and others,we were intentional in including “leaders of tomorrow”—children from preschoolers to teenagers also participated in the evening’s prayers, convened by Rev. Jody Wood of
New York City Intercessors

We are deeply delighted, here at IPMI, for this wonderful opportunity to join with Dr. Mac Pier and The New York City Leadership Center to host the October 24 Global Leaders Prayer Gathering in support of Movement Day Global Cities 2016. But we also realize that without the support the various organizations, churches and individuals that contributed in some way to the effort, the event would not have been successful. We, therefore, would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support. In addition, we would like to specially thank the hundreds of leaders from around the world that participated with us in this truly historic Prayer Gathering.
