WTBD is hosting a session dedicated to help researchers learn how to share their work effectively with the community. The competition will reward who can best present their work in layman’s terms in 3 minutes. The winner will receive a prize! 


Who can apply? Everyone! Senior/ junior faculty, postdoc fellows, research analysts/ associates, and grad students.

TB RAMP APPLICATIONS OPEN!

RAP AWARDS

The Resource Allocation Program awards in TB research are mentoring and training grants eligible to UCSF and UC Berkeley Early Stage Investigators to conduct a TB-focused research project. RAP Awardees will receive $40,000 toward their research and be enrolled in TB RAMP.

TB RAMP

TB RAMP is an integrated program of creative educational, training, and mentoring activities with a focus on research skills development, provision of research opportunities and experiences, and sustained mentoring activities. The program is eligible to advanced doctoral students, fellows, postdocs, and junior faculty from UCSF and UC Berkeley in TB research.

Consultation Service


UCTRAC is offering consultation services for ESI/NI as well as established researchers in pursuit of both clinical and basic research.


Consultation is provided by a roster of faculty at UCSF and UC Berkeley, as well as external experts.

Voucher Program


The UCTRAC Voucher Program is designed to support ESI's and NI's engaged in basic science to test their hypotheses, reagents and models in in vitro and in vivo models of M. tuberculosis infection. The vouchers will provide support for trained personnel who will perform the necessary experiments.

Voucher Program

Programs offered by UCTRAC are eligible to UCSF and UC Berkeley early-stage and new-to-TB investigators. Clinical consultation service available to established researchers in TB.

The Supporting, Mobilizing and Accelerating Research for Tuberculosis Elimination (SMART4TB) consortium, with funding from USAID, is inviting diagnostic developers to apply for funding to advance the development of oral swab-based TB assays on already-existing point-of-care (POC) molecular platforms via the below-linked RFA Portal.

The World Health Organization (WHO) invites all stakeholders to comment on the latest drafts of the target regimen profiles (TRPs) for TB treatment and the target product profiles (TPPs) for tests for TB treatment monitoring and optimization, by means of online feedback forms.
