This Friday: Carol Night is Celebrated
The 103rd celebration of Carol Night will be held this coming Friday, December 6, 2024, at 7 p.m. in the Rotunda, Villa Maria Hall. Registration is not required, and seating is open. Here are a few additional details:
- Those unable to attend can enjoy the livestream of Carol Night online here.
- The Campus Store will set up in the Green Room with a select variety of items available for purchase before and after the Carol Night celebration, from 6-8 p.m.

See "Sharing Joy this Christmas", below, for details on a food and toy drive, and plan to bring your donation to Carol Night.

See "Music Alumni Carol Night Reception" under Alumni Events for details on a special gathering for alumni who graduated with an IU Music degree.
- The West Chester Christmas parade occurs during the same time as Carol Night. Guests traveling to campus will want to avoid traveling through West Chester.

Sharing Joy this Christmas
Help spread holiday cheer this year with your support of Campus Ministry’s collection for the Mother of Mercy House in Kensington, PA. Alumni & friends are invited to bring unwrapped toys for children ages 6-18 and non-perishable food items (especially cereal) to campus and place them in the drop-off boxes near Campus Safety and the Green Room. Collection boxes will be available through December 16, 2024, and all are encouraged to bring items if attending the December 6, 2024, celebration of Carol Night.

Fill Mac's Stocking for Christmas
(And you may win a prize...)
Calling all alumni who enjoyed their time at Immaculata! For Christmas, Mac would like to see if we can reach this year's participation goal of 1,400 alumni donors (6.5% of our alumni base.) To do this, Mac is asking alums who have not sent in a gift this fiscal year (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025) to send in a little something to "stuff" his stocking. Your donation of any size will count toward reaching Mac's goal!
We thank those who have already participated this year - you are "in" the stocking already! Not sure if you participated? Check Mac's Christmas list here. 661 alumni are already in the stocking, we need 739 more to reach out goal and hope you will be one of them!
Now the fun part - everyone who is in Mac's stocking will be in a drawing to win an Immaculata swag basket in January. (This includes those who have already given.) Your gift to stuff Mac's stocking may be the key to cool IU gear for the New Year!

On the Road with 20BELOW
Graduates of the last 20 years - Immaculata's 20BELOW alumni - we want to see you in Horsham! You are invited to reconnect with IU and your fellow 20BELOW Alumni on December 11, 2024, during a complimentary 12 p.m. lunch at P.J. Whelihan’s Pub & Restaurant in Horsham, PA.
Join Susan Arnold, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, Brigid Whelihan, Fundraising and Grants Associate, and fellow Immaculata University alumni to hear about exciting changes underway at Immaculata University; learn how alumni are making a difference for current students; and meet with IU Alumni in your area. This event is free for you and one guest. Stay tuned: there are more On the Road with 20BELOW events scheduled for 2025!

IBX Healthcare Scholars Program Opens Doors for IU Nursing Students
The Independence Blue Cross Foundation Healthcare Scholars Program (IBX Healthcare Scholarship Program) creates educational pathways for underrepresented undergraduate nursing students. The program offers full academic scholarships, mentorship and academic support for graduating high school students looking to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees. IBX Scholarship Program provides colleges funding to distribute as full tuition scholarships to students as they progress through their college careers. View full article here

Music Alumni Carol Night Reception
Immaculata University’s Music alumni are invited to join us for a Carol Night Reception on Friday, December 6, 2024. Enjoy light refreshments and socialize with fellow Music alumni.

7 p.m. 103rd Carol Night

Golden Macs Christmas Tea
Immaculata’s Golden Macs, classes of 1974 and older, are invited to join us for a special afternoon tea while enjoying the ambience of Christmas at Immaculata with their friends. This year's Golden Macs Christmas Tea will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 1-3p.m. in the Green Room of Villa Maria Hall. Tickets are $25 per person.

SAVE THE DATE: Alumni Spiritual Retreat
Save the date for the 2025 Alumni Spiritual Retreat, to be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on campus in the Green Room, Villa Maria Hall. Snow date: February 8, 2025.
Themed “Friendship with God,” the key scriptures for the day include
Luke 10 and John 4, focusing on love of God and neighbor and finding
peace as we join together as a community This event is offered to all alumni and friends who seek to deepen their connection with God.
Your $25 registration fee includes light morning refreshments, lunch and retreat materials. Additional event details and registration are available online here. RSVP by January 18, 2025.

If you register for an event and are subsequently unable to attend, please call and let us know so that your seat can be offered to another alum who is interested in attending. While the event is free for the alum and one guest, the University must pay for all reserved seats, so your call also allows us to cancel that reservation when a wait list is not pending. Immaculata Symphony Christmas Concert
Start the Christmas season with an enjoyable afternoon of holiday favorites, with the Immaculata Symphony's Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 8, 2024. from 3-5 p.m. in Alumnae Hall. The symphony performs an entertaining program complete with beloved classical melodies, audience sing-alongs, and festive Christmas favorites that will certainly get your family in the holiday spirit.
Tickets are $10 and are available online here; students and children are free.

Seniors Honored Prior to Women's Bryn Mawr Meet
On November 23, 2024, the Immaculata swimming program took time to honor their three seniors for their careers on the swimming team and as student athletes at Immaculata University. Despite multiple first place finishes, the Macs fell to Bryn Mawar 110-87. View full story here.
