What an amazing hike we had on Saturday!
35 student leaders, board members, parents, and friends braved the 40 degree morning to hike 4.5 miles to raise money for the FCA ministry.
We laughed, prayed, connected, and ate breakfast burritos together to celebrate all that God is doing on the Central Coast through FCA.
At the very top, we circled up and shared some highlights from the year and the hike. The most memorable quote was from Rylee who is a student leader at Atascadero High School. During her prayer she said something along the lines of: "Thank you God for all the love that I feel through FCA and through all the people here."
While we did not quite hit our goal of $20,000 (we are at about 65% of that), this event was an incredible opportunity to connect/pray with students in God's beautiful creation.
