Walking Toward Wellness

By: Norah Adams

In Parrsboro, retired agrologist Colin Hergert has found new purpose as an NS Walks leader. Inspired by his wife Anna, he now leads a group for slower walkers, many recovering from health challenges. For Colin, it’s about more than exercise—it’s about consistency, connection, and community pride. “When it comes to health, if you don’t use it, you lose it!”
