Walkabout - Big Dreams and Coal Mines

This month’s episode highlight is S4E3 - Big Dreams and Coal Mines, Andrew searches for a ghost town in Cape Breton that was meant to become a great Canadian city, planned around a coal mine that was never built, after which he visits a trail near the last operating coal mine on the island. Walkabout is a show featured on Eastlink and hosted by Andrew Younger, now available online for viewing. It’s all about exploring Nova Scotia’s trails (sponsored content).

Fuel Your Hikes

Fuel your hiking fun with Rise and Shine Orange & Oatmeal Muffins from our sponsor, the Dairy Farmers of Nova Scotia. Oatmeal adds a little texture, with dates and chocolate for a little sweetness, while the orange rounds out the muffin’s flavor beautifully for a quick breakfast or snack before hitting the trails.
