Inform: HillChart Monthly Release & Updates
HillChart provides monthly releases and updates. Practices can anticipate information with each release every third week of the month. This includes new features, workflows, and training documentation as well as links to training sessions. For the August 2022 release, you can expect the following:

  • Patient FYI Flags: Patient FYI flags are set at the patient level. This means information is shared among all HillChart practice users. Note: Financial data is restricted and should not be shared. Please do not use Patient FYI Flags for patient financial information. For financial information, including billing, it is best practice to use the “Account Status,” which is specific to patient guarantors and is the correct type of flag for sharing. Account statuses are specific to your practice and are not visible across practices. Click here for detailed information.

  • Default Standard Note Template Speed Button: HillChart has added a new feature: The standard note template speed button in the "Notes" section. This gives new providers a starting place for notes and enhances existing notes capabilities. Click here for detailed information.

  • Medication Update: Additional medications have been added within HillChart. As a reminder, medications will now default to 100-days dispensed if selected from the “Facility Lookup” tab. Users can then resave their favorites to include the 100-day option as their default. In addition, a six-month duration option using a 'quick button' in HillChart will be available for all medications.

  • Registration Update: HillChart users will be able to quickly access a patient-specific, encounter registration information from the Hyperspace Toolbar. Click here for more on this update.
Inform: Flu Vaccines
The Flu Vaccines for 2022-2023 are available for HillChart Practices to order and administer to patients. For questions or additional information, contact the HillChart Service Desk at (800) 280-0083.
Hill Physicians recognizes the many benefits a patient portal offers our members, your patients. To assist and encourage patient adoption of MyHillChart, we’re working on a new program that includes patient-engagement materials – highlighting the benefits of MyHillChart – your practice can distribute during patient visits. Our account managers will have these materials to you soon!

In the interim, please remind patients that, through MyHillChart, they have convenient access to:
  • Video visits with their care providers
  • E-visits (online-care questionnaires to submit real-time feedback)
  • Secure messaging with their care providers
  • Online appointment scheduling
  • Prescription refills
  • Lab results

With the flexibility and convenience of telehealth, patient demand for virtual care is increasing, and together we can meet demand by ensuring patients adopt MyHillChart. Thank you for your collective efforts; we look forward to providing an update in the coming weeks.
