Final Version of 2020-21 SSA Plan Presented to Board and Special Visitor Sen. Mark Hass
At their work session on Tuesday, Feb. 25, Board and Budget Committee members will receive an update on the District’s 2020-21 budget situation, including HSD’s final plan for the use of approximately $16 million in funds from the Student Investment Account (SIA). The SIA is the portion of funds generated by the Student Success Act (SSA) that is coming directly to K-12 school districts. Oregon Senator Mark Hass was one of the chief proponents of the SSA (HB3427) in the Senate, and will be on hand to both talk about that process and hear the discussion of its implementation in the Hillsboro School District.
