Many congratulations to HSD’s graduating seniors in the Class of 2021! Ten graduation ceremonies were held last week - one each for Hillsboro Online Academy and Miller Education Center/Hillsboro Big Picture, and two each for the comprehensive high schools - and all were amazing and joyful. Thank you to students, families, staff, and the greater Hillsboro community for helping us celebrate this important milestone in our seniors’ lives. Best wishes to you in all future endeavors, graduates! You embody what makes us Proud to be HSD! See pictures from each of the events here; videos will be posted here within the next week.

This will be the final issue of Hot News for the 2020-21 school year! Hot News will return in late August for the 2021-22 school year. We will continue posting content to our website and social media sites over the summer, and will communicate with you directly via email, Remind, hard copy mailings, etc. as needed. |

The HSD Board of Directors comprises seven elected members serving four-year terms and three student representatives serving a one-year term. Board members are community volunteers and do not receive compensation for their work. Board members establish policy based on Oregon and Federal laws governing schools.
