Featured Staff and Students: Evergreen Bike Club
Since 2009, current Liberty High School head custodian John Sarrazin has been running an after-school Bike Club for middle school students. For many years, the club was held at Poynter Middle School, but due to renovations at Poynter starting in 2019, he moved his operation to Evergreen Middle School and continues to run the club there. Mr. Sarrazin takes in old bikes from the Hillsboro Police Department, community, staff members, and club participants, and teaches students how to repair and rebuild them. The refurbished bikes are then given away to students in need. The goals of the club are to help students with math, teach them valuable and practical skills, and allow them to give back to the community through service. The club is currently in need of bicycles, parts, monetary donations, and volunteers! If you have a donation or are interested in helping out, please contact Mr. Sarrazin at sarrazij@hsd.k12.or.us.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
