Job Opportunities in HSD
Are you looking for a rewarding career as a full-time teacher, or for flexible or part-time options as a substitute? If so, please consider taking advantage of upcoming opportunities to explore openings both at HSD and with our substitute services provider, ESS. 

Job postings for a wide variety of positions are continually being added to our website; please check the site frequently for current openings. In addition, HSD will be offering a Licensed Virtual Job Fair on Wednesday, March 17, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. You must RSVP by Tuesday, March 11, at 4 p.m. to participate.

Similarly, ESS is always looking for applicants to fill a number of substitute positions in the District. Typically when people think about being a substitute for a school district, they likely think about being a substitute teacher. And while there is certainly always a need for substitute teachers, there are also a multitude of opportunities for people who do not hold teaching licenses. We need substitute instructional assistants, office support professionals, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, and much more! 

Explore what ESS has to offer by visiting their website and entering Hillsboro School District in the search box. They will also have a “meet the employer” event in mid-March where people can get more information. Details on that event will be shared in next week’s Hot News.
