This week, Glencoe High School students recognize one of their favorite teachers, Lisa Pearson. Ms. Pearson teaches Psychology and AP Psychology, but the students say her impact reaches further than her classroom. “She has a specific zing that can’t be found anywhere else,” they explain, “which is totally why Ms. Pearson deserves to be recognized for being the glorious Cherub Wrangler that she is.”

The HSD Board of Directors comprises seven elected members serving four-year terms and three student representatives serving a one-year term. Board members are community volunteers and do not receive compensation for their work. Board members establish policy based on Oregon and Federal laws governing schools.
