Feeling safe at school involves more than just physical safety - it also involves emotional safety. During a student’s day, there are counselors and embedded community resources who can be accessed for immediate support on-site. However, there may be times when students just don’t feel comfortable sharing with someone face-to-face. Therefore, HSD created an easily accessible sticker resource that provides contact information for community mental health supports for our students, including local agencies that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This sticker is being issued in the month of October to all middle and high school students and staff members to place on the back of their ID cards. Click here for more information.
