Featured Students: HSD Valedictorians and Salutatorians
|
|
Congratulations are in order for HSD’s 84 valedictorians and salutatorians! These students represent the top achievers at our high schools and they were celebrated at a lunch event on Wednesday, May 26, under the covered play area at Witch Hazel Elementary School. Those who couldn’t attend in person joined via Zoom. Mayor Steve Callaway, Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce President Deanna Palm, Hillsboro Schools Foundation Executive Director Aron Carleson, and School Board Vice Chair Martin Granum joined Superintendent Mike Scott in praising the students for their accomplishments and wishing them well in the future. For their part, the students shared words of wisdom for a successful high school experience. Way to go, students, you make us so proud to be HSD!
