October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and HSD schools and students are doing their part to spread the word and choose kindness on their campuses. According to the websiteSTOMP Out Bullying, the goal of Bullying Prevention Month is to encourage schools, communities and organizations to work together to stop bullying and cyberbullying and put an end to hatred and racism by increasing awareness of the prevalence and impact of all forms of bullying on children of all ages. Each week in October we will share stories about how our schools are approaching the issue of bullying and working to put an end to it. To kick us off, take a moment to learn more about anonymous tip reporting that’s offered both through the State’sSafeOregon tipline and also through theDistrict’s mobile app.
