Featured Event: Proud to be HSD 2021 Welcome Back Relay
Our Olympics-themed Proud to be HSD 2021 Welcome Back Relay takes place Monday, Aug. 30, through Thursday, Sep. 2, across our entire district. Please see www.hsd.k12.or.us/hsdrelay for all the details about when the runners will make a stop at your school. And please plan to join us for our Closing Ceremonies on Thursday, Sep. 2, from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the HSD Administration Center (3083 NE 49th Pl.) where we will have the Kona Ice food truck selling sweet treats, special guests from Hillsboro Fire & Rescue, and more! Masks must be worn in accordance with the Governor’s current orders.

Indoor Facilities Temporarily Unavailable for Community Use
Due to increasing COVID-related restrictions, we are temporarily suspending approvals for indoor facility use requests by community groups. We will resume reviewing indoor reservation requests as soon as the health situation in our area stabilizes. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Vaccine Clinics
Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center will host walk-up vaccine clinics at Century High School on Wednesday, September 8th, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.; at R.A. Brown Middle School on Tuesday, September 21st, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.; and at Poynter Middle School on Tuesday, September 28th, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Vaccines are free of charge and will be available for ages 12 and up. More information coming soon!
The HSD Board of Directors comprises seven elected members serving four-year terms and three student representatives serving a one-year term. Board members are community volunteers and do not receive compensation for their work. Board members establish policy based on Oregon and Federal laws governing schools. The Board approves policies for the Superintendent to implement. Email: School Board.
