What's Happening at Hillsdale

Knights Families,

Another week closer to the end of our fall sporting season…but it’s definitely not over. If you haven’t had the opportunity to watch our fall sports in action—just do it! Check the schedule for our home and away athletics competitions. You can also support our athletes by volunteering to work concessions--and you can get a FREE meal, too! Click here for the sign up Concessions

Concessions is looking for some of your gently used items before going out and purchasing them...a Keurig (ones that hold approx 36-48oz water or larger) or Mr. Coffee (approx 12 cup) coffee maker. The nights are getting colder for our Knights fans and they want to serve hot beverages as quickly as they can! Please reach out to the PTSO and we can make arrangements with you. Thank you!

Our athletes display some great sportsmanship, talent, and spirit. Don’t believe us?? Come to the Pink Game next Thursday night to see our football players wearing pink accessories as a part of their uniform to support Breast Cancer Awareness. That same day, our Sophomore class will be selling Pura Vida pink bracelets at lunch and in between the JV and Varsity games. See attached flyer for cost.

Still need more proof of the spirit of our students and community?? A week from today is our A Knight 4 the Cure game, one of our favorite events of the year. Come join us for fun, food, and some flag football. We can’t wait to see you there, but we still need your help—our sign up genius is in need of sign ups for donations AND volunteers. Click here to help  AK4TC Volunteers and Donations

Did that last sentence mention donations? And are you or your business/workplace looking for a good donation opportunity. Look no further---The HHS Foundation is the place to donate to! The Foundation supports all of our booster groups, smaller learning communities, and teachers. In order to continue to operate successfully, they need donations. So if you haven't done your part and are able--or know a business that is--please see this informational packet for details.

We can't end this blurb without mentioning a Senior Class fundraiser. They are working with Natural State Goods and selling reusable/ecofriendly items. See flyer attached. You simply enter the code HILLSDALE2025 at check out & the senior class gets 40% of your purchase. We have these bags and they are fabulous! Don't miss out and place your order asap!!

Still looking for more HHS excitement?? Keep scrolling through the bulletin and all of the attachments. We don't want you to miss out on anything.

Last and most importantly, we'd like to thank everyone for their continued support to us and PTSO. We truly appreciate it. We would also like to invite you all to our monthly meeting this coming Monday at 6:30 in the Cafeteria/MUR -or- via Zoom. All are welcome. It's truly the best way to keep up-to-date on what is happening on and around campus. Spoiler alert--we will be having updates on upcoming events and activities.

We hope to see everyone on Monday!

In the words of recent graduate Camryn Woo:

"Something I loved about Hillsdale was its Small Learning Communities. With them, I felt like I could communicate with my teachers and get to know them better. This made it easier to reach out if I ever needed help - which in turn made the transition from high school to college much smoother since I had a good understanding of the material. I also love that when in these Small Learning Communities it allows you to become closer with your classmates over the two years. I love Small Learning Communities and think it is a great opportunity for students."
