What a busy week at Hillsdale! Our WOW Week was a huge success, and it was wonderful to see so much energy and activity happening all across campus.

Tonight is our first home football game of the season. Come cheer on our team and enjoy a night of Hillsdale spirit! If you haven't already, please sign up to help out at the Snack Shack. We still need volunteers.

We're also excited to welcome our freshman class with our Freshman Mix and Mingle, giving them a chance to see just how great our Hillsdale community really is. A huge thank you to our Leadership students for all their help making this happen!

And speaking of community, our SLC Council is looking for parent volunteers to help shape school policy and budget decisions. If you'd like to get involved, we'd love to have you.

Mark your calendars for a district-wide parent education event on September 16th at San Mateo High School, featuring Dino and Project Reboot. See the flyer below for more information and to register.

Join the SLC Council

Hillsdale's Small Learning Committee (SLC) Council is the "legislative" arm of our school's governance model, making key decisions on policy and budget that shape the Hillsdale experience. It is Hillsdale's version of the School Site Council.

We are looking for parents who want to get involved and bring their perspective to the table.

When: Monthly on Mondays, 4:00 to 5:30 PM

Where: Hillsdale Library

San Mateo County is inviting all San Mateo County high schoolers to apply to the Youth Climate Ambassadors (YCA) program!

YCA is a 9-month (Sept 2026 - May 2027) youth leadership program that provides students with the opportunity to dive into social and environmental issues contributing to the global and local climate crisis.

Applications are now open to all San Mateo County high school students grades 9 through 12, and the deadline to apply is September 1.
