A Message from the Hillsdale PTSO

The first week of school is officially in the books! We hope students, families, teachers, and staff are settling into a wonderful new school year. Campus has already been buzzing with activity, and this week is going to be even busier!

It's WOW Week (Week of Welcome)! Students should check in with their advisors for details on spirit wear, activities, and contests all week long, including a Belly Flop Contest. WOW Week is packed with spirit days, a schoolwide club fair, a schoolwide rally, the Freshman Mix & Mingle between football games, and our very first football games of the season.

Volunteers needed at the snack shack! It's one of the best ways to meet fellow parents and students while making a real difference for our school, and it simply cannot happen without volunteers. Check out the flyer below, grab a few friends, and help us make Friday nights fun!

Things are only going to get busier from here, so stay tuned for more exciting happenings on campus. We can't wait to see everyone at school and at the games. Go Knights!

Student Opportunity: Youth Climate Ambassadors

San Mateo County is inviting all San Mateo County high schoolers to apply to the Youth Climate Ambassadors (YCA) program!

YCA is a 9-month (Sept 2026 - May 2027) youth leadership program that provides students with the opportunity to dive into social and environmental issues contributing to the global and local climate crisis.

Applications are now open to all San Mateo County high school students grades 9 through 12, and the deadline to apply is September 1.
