What's Happening at Hillsdale

It's Friday and it's bulletin day!

First and foremost, our sincerest apologies if you tried to attend our PTSO meeting via Zoom on Monday. We were having Zoom technical difficulties--again! We look forward to seeing everyone at our January Meeting, though.

We hope that you enjoyed our "Cookie Matching" in last week's bulletin. Let us know what you thought of it by clicking this anonymous link Cookie Matching Stay tuned for next week's fun.

This past week, we have had concerts, auditions, and a dance show! Our VAPA Program was definitely in full performance mode! Guess what else we've been having a lot of--Winter Athletic Contests! Basketball, Soccer, & Wrestling to name a few. There have been local tournaments, too. Check this week's line-up in the bulletin and come out to cheer on a Knights Team!

The Freshmen and Sophomores co-hosted a movie night on Wednesday, complete with pizza, cocoa, and candy for sale! The Juniors had a Hot Cocoa Study Hall yesterday from 7th period until 4:30. Seniors are having candy canes during advisory today! It's looking like all classes are getting ready for finals next week!!

The Freshmen and Sophomores are kicking off next week with a candy sale at brunch. See flyer for details.

'Tis the season for giving...what better way to give than to give directly to your Hillsdale Community! The Peace Pantry, Community Closet, and Community Garden are having their annual funding drive right now. They are trying to raise $80,000 so they can maintain the current level of support they give to our community in the coming year. Your donations can be monthly or as a lump sum. ANY donation is tax deductible and you are also standing with other donors to support vulnerable families in our HHS Community. Click here to give--- HHS Community Support or scroll down the bulletin for more information.

If you can't give monetarily, then maybe you can give the gift of time. We would love to have you help with Junior Mock Interviews. Click here for shifts Mock Interviews and scroll down for more details. We are also looking for an ETA Job Placement Volunteer (flyer is in this bulletin). Can't do anything at all right now?? Show your support by thanking a teacher/staff member for all that they do.

PTSO in partnership with Leadership will be thanking the HHS Staff and Faculty next Monday by hosting a Cookie, Cocoa, and Coffee event. Thanks so much to all who have donated treats. If you'd like to be included on our hospitality mailing list, you can click the PTSO Membership link (no money required--but it is appreciated) or email us with your name, your child's name and grade and we will add you to the mailing list.

Please remember that all who submit/write for this bulletin appreciate you and the time you take to read the weekly information. Your participation truly matters!

Thanks and have a great week!
