What's Happening at Hillsdale

Hillsdale Families,

On Sunday, we and other parent booster representatives had the pleasure of meeting with the WASC panel as they kicked off their visit. We also had Leadership students who welcomed and gave tours to our visitors. The WASC representatives then visited classrooms and met with teachers Monday-Wednesday. Thanks to all who helped in front of and behind the scenes to organize the events throughout the visit!! Thanks especially to the faculty and staff who work so hard each day to make Hillsdale a community that we are proud to be a part of.

The weather has been great this week---some might say it's "Golf Weather". You should sign up to play in our 16th annual golf tournament on Friday, May 10. No need to be at a professional level to play--the only requirement is a want to support Hillsdale Athletics. Don't golf? There's still a place for you. You can sign up to drive players around the course or just attend the banquet. There's something for everyone! The best part (besides a great day on the course) is that one of the auction items is a GOLF CART loaded with swag and goodies. Check out the flyer below for more information.

Last night, Clue opened in the little theater! Tickets are still available and there are 2pm and 7pm shows on Saturday and Sunday. Come out and watch the mystery of the show unfold...here's a preview

Our VAPA events don't end with drama. Knight Moves is approaching in a little over a month. If you haven't seen Knight Moves, it's one you don't want to miss--it is always a packed house! That packed house of approximately 700 people will each receive a program. Within that program, there are ads to promote your business or a business you may know of. You should definitely seize this opportunity to purchase an ad by clicking the link on the flyer below.

Senior families, don't forget to check out the Senior section of the bulletin for all things Senior related, including the extended deadline for Senior Day and Senior Knight. If you need Senior information in the coming months, look no further--we update as we receive the latest information.

Don't have a senior? We would LOVE to have you join PTSO, the Foundation, or Athletics boosters next year. No experience necessary. It's a great way to be involved in whatever degree you wish. Contact Jen & Holly ([email protected]) Katherine Goodman ([email protected]) Jenna Carson ([email protected])

The countdown to Spring Break has begun...one week to go.

March is Arts Education Month!

A high-quality arts education is an essential part of a student's journey. Engaging in art fosters creativity and innovation, promotes critical thinking, enhances communication skills, builds cultural awareness, boosts academic performance, and nurtures students' social and emotional well-being – in essence, arts education helps students achieve personal and academic success.

California has come a long way to ensure all students have equitable access to the arts with the passage of Proposition 28, which will bring approximately $11.6 million annually to San Mateo County. Thank you to all of our teachers who help bring the arts into our students’ daily lives!
