Knights Families,
We are down to our final few weeks of the school year and May Madness is in full effect! Starting at the end of next week, the schedule changes--Wednesday is a "Rally Schedule" with our Goodbye Rally happening, Thursday is a regular 1-7, and Friday May 23, students will be taking their first period finals. Scroll further for the bell schedule for the week.
Congratulations to the Cast, Crew and Creative team of Cabaret for being Nominated for a Rita Moreno Award for their production.. And to Grace McCollum for her Lead Actress Nomination!
We would like to congratulate our Girls' Lacrosse team for making it to the semi-finals on Thursday. They unfortunately lost after their forth overtime,10-11, unfortunately ending our great season of HHS Lacrosse.
We'd like to thank everyone once more for their support and donations last week. The week could never have been successful without you--and we truly appreciate it!! We have pictures to share of Friday's luncheon...

Last week, we attended a small get together hosted by the HHS Foundation to thank us for our support this year. There were representatives from the various parent booster groups, the HHSF Board, and other school personnel. We are so lucky to have a strong Foundation that works hard to ensure that our students are supported in so many ways. If you are interested in supporting the Foundation, consider making a donation -or- consider purchasing a brick/chair plaque (Brick Flyer/Plaque Flyer)
This week, we started off with Athletic Awards Knight on Monday; our own Hillsdale Film Festival on Wednesday, and tonight, our Seniors will be attending Senior Knight on campus. This evening of fun and food is organized by our Senior Class with the help of Senior Class parent representatives and parent volunteers. This is such a fun kick-off on the road to graduation that will be here soon.
For those Seniors who participated in the Latino Graduation Celebration yesterday, ¡Felicidades! We would also like to include pictures of last week's Commit to Your Future pancake breakfast--pictures attached. We are so proud to be a part of a community that supports our students in so many different ways.
Next Thursday and Friday, we have our final VAPA event of the year--the Spring Music Concerts (Flyer) If you haven't attended a concert at HHS this year, we highly recommend...
Saturday, May 24 we have Track and Field and Softball playoff contests. Scroll down for times and locations.
We have our last couple of fundraisers, today (Cruel Donuts - Flyer) and next week (Mendocino Farms - Flyer).
We wish you a wonderful weekend of rest and relaxation--finals and graduation will be here before you know it!

Congratulations HHS Drama!
The Rita Moreno Awards took place on Monday, May 12, and Hillsdale Drama showed up in full force! Families, students, and staff came out to cheer on our student performers onstage and the amazing directing team behind them—Margaret Marshall, Jill Jacobs, and Lisa Bock. The cast dazzled with their performance of "Willkommen" from Cabaret, and Grace McCollum brought down the house with her powerhouse rendition of "Cabaret". They finished the night trophy-in-hand with the Fan Favorite Award—a huge honor and well-deserved recognition. Bravo to all! We’re so proud of you!

Egg Donations for Peace Pantry
We're seeking egg donations from families with flocks! The Aquino family is coordinating the collection, packaging and donation of spare eggs to the Peace Pantry. With egg costs rising, families are struggling to afford them.
Last week, the Aquinos donated fifty eggs thanks to their four backyard hens and another gracious family's flock. We're hoping to find more families with chickens who can spare a few eggs weekly.
If you have backyard chickens or spare egg cartons, we can pick them up Wednesdays from your doorstep. Please email jenchristgau@gmail.com to coordinate.
