Hillsdale Families,
Last night, we had the privilege to be a part of Open House for the second year. This new design on Open House has the Parent Booster groups set up with tables, as well as student led clubs. Our VAPA program was definitely highlighted with performances from music, dance, and video. There were 10th and 12th grade family meetings regarding what to expect Junior year and graduation. You may have also noticed some 8th grade Knights-to-be with their families checking out all that we have to offer. The evening was a great success--thanks all who worked in front of and behind the scenes! A special thank you also to the VAPA and Leadership students who took time to perform and welcome families. Most importantly, thanks to the faculty and staff for taking the evening to show us all that the students have accomplished this year.
Because the faculty and staff were working much later than usual, today will be a minimum day to give them a well earned break. Check the website for the minimum day class schedule.
We also couldn't have such great things to show off at Open House if not for our Foundation. Fun fact---a Hillsdale family is matching ALL gifts that are sent in by TODAY---they've offered to match up to $10,000! This push could bring us even closer to the annual goal of $600,000. This amount allows us to keep the Smaller Learning Communities, as well as other unique programs, at Hillsdale. If you are able, please consider giving.
It's not too late to purchase your tickets to see Clue this month. We are down to the final couple of weeks before performances start. Get tickets now, so you don't miss out. hillsdaledrama.org More information on flyer below.
Another VAPA reminder...does your student play an instrument -or- want to learn? If you know someone who might be interested, share the attached flyer, or have them click here Music Department
Tomorrow, we are hosting a Track event at the stadium. Come out and watch the events and take advantage of our concession stand. And there's still time to volunteer to help. Concessions
