President's Message: Upcoming Recruitment and WKU Family Gathering Opportunities | |
Colleagues,
The Office of Admissions is hard at work recruiting the next class of Hilltoppers, but bringing those students into the WKU Family remains a campus-wide effort. Every prospective student and family who visits WKU has an opportunity to experience what makes our university distinctive, and each of us plays a role in showcasing what makes WKU the right choice. A conversation with a faculty member, a welcoming interaction with a staff member or a chance to learn more about a particular academic program can be the moment that helps a student see WKU as the right fit.
One of the easiest ways to get involved this fall is by participating in WKU Preview Days on October 17 and November 11. Preview Day is a free open-house style event for students exploring college options, providing them and their families with the opportunity to experience campus, learn about our academic offerings and student activities and connect with representatives from academic departments, student support services, student financial assistance and more. If your area of campus has not yet registered to participate in the remaining Preview Days this semester, you may do so by completing the form found here.
As a reminder, we will have a chance to come together as a Hilltopper Family on October 27, when WKU Football takes on Delaware. I encourage you to join your colleagues, friends and fellow Hilltoppers as we gather to support our student-athletes and celebrate our university community.
