Route 116/Shelburne Falls Road/CVU Road Intersection

TRAFFIC IMPACT:

A flagged, one-way alternating traffic pattern should be expected between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, 7/24/21.

The traveling public should expect alternating one-way traffic within the project area between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday next week (7/26-7/30). Please expect delays and add extra time to your travel plans.

CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES:

Layout of new lines for turning lanes will be completed later today. Line striping targets will be installed until lines can be painted, the new signal will become operational, and the new turn lanes will be in effect later this afternoon.

Grinding for the permanent line configuration is scheduled to begin Friday and continue on Saturday (7/23-7/24). Please note that a flagged one-way alternating traffic pattern is permitted on Saturday between the hours of 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Delays may occur.

Any remaining grinding will occur early in the week next week. Permanent line striping is scheduled to be completed by the end of next week.

Line striping and roadway marking is dependent on favorable weather and surface conditions. Adverse weather can delay/alter the painting schedule.
New signals will be operational later today.
Layout for new roadway markings is nearly complete.
