Sign up to help at LOSD Career Fair
We are excited to announce the Lake Oswego School District Annual Career Night & Job Fair is BACK for 2022. The date is Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 6:30pm - 8:00pm at Lake Oswego High School. Before COVID, we had over 70 businesses/trades/colleges represented and the turnout from our students was incredible!

The event will be held in the cafeteria at LOHS with each attendee having a table (or 2 if needed) to set up and display their business/trade/college information. We ask that you set up your table between 5:00pm and 5:45pm as students will arrive at 6:00pm to listen to speakers for the first half hour.

The purpose of our Career Night & Job Fair is to give our students the opportunity to learn about careers they might not have considered and to ask questions from people in different industries/fields. There will also be businesses interested in hiring students and will be taking resumes/applications. We also have a handful of colleges that have specific and unique program offerings.

As we plan the logistics for our event, we will need to know if you require electricity or any other special equipment. Tablecloths are provided for each 6' round or 8' rectangle table. There is no cost for attendees of this event.

If you are interested in participating or have any questions, please email

Business Sustainability Tip #17
Set Water Heaters to 120 Degrees
  • Most water heaters work by holding water in a tank at a specific temperature, 24 hours a day, but are set to temperatures higher than necessary which can waste energy and money.

  • If the temperature is set to 120° higher-than-average demands will still be met, burns prevented, and energy saved 24 hours a day.

  • If uncertain about your water heater setting and temperature, run hot tap water over an immersion thermometer to get a fairly accurate reading of your water temperature.
