APRIL showers!

So pumped it's been 3 years since we had this energy at H&H! The team had some changes and we had to work on some really fun things for us to go to the next level for the amazing clients of H&H! Ask your personal trainer all the amazing changes we have made!

This month can be busy end with the end of the school year, rainy days and for Spring colors to pop! So let's start an affirmation buzz! We are a small business but big enough that not everyone knows each other. If you have social media and comfortable with checking in, insta story or linked in review and Facebook with your personal trainer! Rock Linked in and H&H Facebook when you do something that's healthy! Hopefully someone that has a rainy day reads it and now has sunshine. Someone that is busy now feels not so alone with that and steps it up because of your good vibes. We as a team of trainers promise to not just LIKE your post but have a genuine comment to rock your motivation during a busy time of the year. If you are apprehensive about it or if you are super pumped but have no clue how to send some awesome out then talk to your trainer.

Examples are to check in His & Her Fitness like...Today I would not have made it without knowing my trainer was waiting on me! #aprilshowers #hisandherfitness

Or...Today started with working out and my consistency is paying off! I have energy now that I have less fat and more lean muscle! #aprilshowers #hisandherfitness

The hashtags is how we find each other, comment and rock! You may have long last found your fitness family you never knew you had!

Affirmation that's genuine spreads a since of realistic view that you can do it!

Only people that like change are babies!

Follow your personal trainers and His & Her Fitness instagrams, Facebook, Linked In, Twitter and Snap Chat! Share, like and tag a friend! Let's do this!

KC Fitness Expo!
This month we were honored to be at the first ever KC FITNESS EXPO! Onstage 3 times rocking the H&H team! I am honored to work with the trainers we have and bring the fitness community together. Special thank you to our promoter Austin (21 years old!) with a vision to have an Arnold size expo, in year one he has done an amazing job! I hope that KC can help him accomplish that goal! The other time on stage was spent with my dear friend Monica Cass who is one of the top figure competitors for many years. We met 16 years ago on stage! Thank you to my sponsor Optimum Nutrition for giving out thousands of samples, bags and shakers! Great job Team H&H with training and coaching for the stage!

Client of the Month
Laura Adams

I am absolutely honored to be chosen as the client of the month at the gym that has truly changed my life. There are many reasons why H&H has made me successful in achieving not only my fitness and health goals but personal goals as well. I currently work full time as an Emergency Room RN while going to school for my Nurse Practitioner degree. More important than anything else, I am a single mother to my 8 year old daughter Lydia. I know that eating right and working out makes me feel the best and most productive when I am completely on track, but my biggest struggle is finding time and getting into a workout routine. When I started at His & Her Fitness, Christina and her team taught me about the importance of my nutrition decisions, educated me on what is truly fuel for my body and helped devise me a meal and workout plan specific to my very unique needs. I have never had such a personal plan with the support from the trainers like I receive at His & Her Fitness. H&H has taught me how to live a healthy lifestyle and I could not be more grateful to have had this experience.

It is a special recognition to be Team Member of the Month! Spring is here and the warmer temperatures are just starting to arrive. For many of you this is a very busy time of year and trying to fit everything into your day or week is a challenge. We recommend that you get at least 15 minutes of moderate exercise in every day above your normal routine if this is all that you have time for. Try some of the creative cardio exercises that we have shown you in the past, try new ones from the newsletter, or take advantage of any exercise opportunities during your day by taking the stairs or walking up an escalator. Simply adding in more walking throughout your day is a plus. Don't forget to hydrate with water as well! Getting the recommended amounts of water daily supports healthy skin, a fast metabolism, productivity, high energy levels and even your good mood! Eat real food and avoid artificial sweeteners and preservatives, refined grains and fast foods whenever possible. Anything that comes from nature is likely to nourish your body and support your goals. In addition, take a little time and simply breathe in and out and not let stressors like weight loss, hectic schedules, traffic, children or spouses cause unnecessary stress in your life. Your body and mind will thank you for taking a few moments each day to observe your breathing.
