Every day is a great day in the gym!

Christina's Corner
LOVE month!

This is the month that is heart awareness month. So we of course know that living a proactive lifestyle is the optional way to have success here. We are always honored to give the gift of health. This means you as a client can give 4 of your friends a FREE training session. A change for your bubble to connect with your fitness bubble.

Do you know that our blood flow is important? With how convenient everything is today being mindfully active is mandatory. Computers are amazing its a great way to reach each of you every month though this newsletter. But it has lead towards more sedentary lifestyles. How many times are you using amazon instead of walking into the store to purchase something. How many times do you go to the post office or walk to the mailbox instead of using your phone app to pay your bills. Do you even walk into the bank. It is so amazing how easy life is becoming so when we say we have less time...does this really mean that we have more time for computer and less time to move? There are 24 hours in a day you can take hour for your health. NO EXCUSES...excuses are like belly buttons everyone has one.

REMINDER I start my workout at 3:30am during the weekdays and have since 2004...and I love every second! I would not advise this unless you really have no other time to crush it!

LOVE month "helping one person at a time live a healthy life" bring your parents, kids, neighbors, coworkers and more. It's fun to have a fitness bubble.

Client of the Month
Connor Delaney and Brittney Baker

In the beginning, Brittney and I started out with Christina and her team at His & Her Fitness to better motivate her mom, Tammy, to help with strength and wellness training. We would all attend her afternoon sessions after work as a large group and would try not to distract one another during our hour of pain and progress, though I seemed to struggle with that the most.

We had done some minor workouts at our college gym before, but that did not prepare us for the intense and detailed training that Christina and others put us through. Though the urge to vomit and possibly pass out was prevalent during those first few sessions, our routine has proven to drive us to better ourselves, both in our exercise and eating habits, and relish in the results.

We hold each other accountable for what we eat and if do end up missing a workout. If one of us feels no motivation to make it to our morning workout, the other gently and repeatedly kicks the other out of bed as motivation to get up and to get moving.

After years of exercising with the H&H team, we can definitively say our lives have improved for the better, in strength, habits, and overall wellness.

Thank you Christina and the H&H crew for picking us as the clients of the month!

What a honor it is to be chosen team member of the month. I continue to feel blessed with the co-workers I work with and the amazing clients we have.

I have always considered myself a very goal oriented person. As a young girl my parents taught me to set goals for myself and work hard to achieve them . I remember setting goals in school, sports and my daily living. But what is a goal?  By definition it is an object of a persons ambition or effort, an aim or desired result.

Goals keep us focused on our desires. For some that maybe to lose weight to be healthy, for others it maybe to gain strength for a specific sport or maybe gain strength to be able to do do daily activities with ease....everyone's goals are different. The bigger question is how do we set good goals for ourselves? We can't just set a goal if we don't have a plan to achieve it, that does us no good at all. You have to create a plan to make those goals happen. This plan includes creating objectives that will ultimately allow you to achieve your goal. A goal should be SMART!

S: specific...what are you wanting to achieve
M: measureable...how can you measure your success
A:  actionable...what are the steps needed to achieve your goal
R:  responsible...who is responsible in making this happen...list family, friends, co-workers and Yes your H & H family here.
T:  time bound:  when do you want to achieve this goal

All of this can seem hard for some and that is why here at H & H we do this for you. We want our clients to be successful and we know each and everyone of you are different and want to achieve different things in life and we want that for you. Know your goals even write them out and put them somewhere that you can look at everyday. We can't move forward without goals. Small goals lead to big accomplishments, short term goals create long term achievements.

So what are your goals for this year...its time to make them happen and we here at H & H will be with you every step of the way to help you do just that!!! If you have goals and are wanting help in achieving them please give me a call, I would love to help you achieve them, I have openings for one on one, tandems and groups. I would love to see you succeed!
