8 Weeks to Greatness is BACK!

This is officially the 13th year for #8weeks_to_greatness! Every year I ask the team of trainers if they are on board to personally help with an extra 60 hours of training time in 2 weeks! And they have said YES! again!!!

Last year's winner Ashley was one heck of a story and the year before she was inspired by Meredith! (Click on their names to see their story and SUCCESS!)

We have added 175 clients since this time last year and all rocking the program that is H&H core mission "Helping one person at a time live a healthy life"!

So I would like you to take some time and look at the hashtags #hisandherfitness #hisandherfitnessapproved #8weeks_to_greatness because it is a great way for you to see the fitness community we have here at H&H and the consistency that happens in our fitness family. We continue to see epic results and epic means keeping it off! If hashtags don't make sense to you no worries!! Just ask your personal trainer to help you! It's an excellent way to stay connected and share positive vibes from your H&H family.

16 years this August that I have been a professional personal trainer and I am more excited today then the day I started. Seeing the same faces and adding new faces just makes my little heart work harder to keep motivating people to not see themselves as the same but as an individual with the goal to be healthy. Our goals our your goals...so we welcome all at the door who are ready to have an experienced group of professional excited to see you happy and successful!

It's always an honor to be recognized for hard work and effort! But it doesn't feel like "work" when it comes to training, coaching and encouraging the awesome clients of His & Her Fitness. You all make coming to the studio each day so fun and rewarding!

Hopefully you are still working towards crushing those March Madness goals! Or maybe you are setting and achieving new milestones, if you were awesome enough to meet your March goals. It's a high energy time at H&H with 8 Weeks to Greatness kicking off. I know many of my clients are riding the wave of motivation by recommitting to the healthy habits that made them feel so awesome in the first place. And with the amazing weather we have been having, I have heard so many of you talking about getting outside and playing with your kids, playing tennis with your friends and just being more active in general after a long dreary winter. Be sure to take notice and follow our 8 Weeks to Greatness candidates on social media. You never know how one of their stories may just motivate you to get your rear back in gear if you've fallen off the healthy lifestyle bandwagon. All it takes is a little positive energy and seeing others' successes to push you to be your best. Plus, they could all use your support to make the switch to the healthy lifestyle we promote here at H&H!

Have a great month friends and don't forget to be awesome!!

My journey began three years ago when I decided it was time to make the commitment to get fit and stay fit. I needed to lose a few pounds but most important to me was making fitness a part of my life and adopting a healthier lifestyle. I've never been one to "work out" or do much cardio. So, I knew that was going to be my challenge. One of the hardest parts for me was finding a place where I didn't feel awkward or embarrassed about having to look the part.

Then I found His & Her Fitness. From the moment I walked in and met Christina, it felt right. What I had never experienced before at other places was the inclusion of the food and lifestyle aspect. Christina sat with me and we talked about food choices, lifestyle and my goals. I was given a daily journal to record my food choices each day, and each time I came in, Christina and my trainers went over it with me. It truly is a family atmosphere here, and I have always felt that Christina and my trainers, Adrian and Terrilyn, truly care about me. They are constantly motivating me not only in the gym but sending me texts and reminders throughout the week to check in on my progress and to give encouragement. I had never experienced a place that truly trains all aspects of a person and helps ensure that you stick to your goals through all the ups and downs.

Because of H&H I have stayed with my training for three years and can't imagine not being part of this family! Thank you to everyone at H&H for creating such a welcoming and motivating environment for us all!
