2020 8 weeks to greatness
Virtual training is no joke. We are so happy to announce that we picked our #8_weeks_to_greatness in 2020 during the lockdown. Katy has nailed it, applied herself and experienced nothing but success, follow her journey and stay inspired. Create an experience of your own. Helping one person at a time live a healthy life.
Christina's Corner
What a month!

It's been a blessing that as of today all clients are still healthy. Congrats to each of you who made it through this history together. With His & Her Fitness having so many leaders in their industry, I love how each of your businesses have adapted to virtual training, dinners, church and more. The creativity will never be forgotten, the memories the youth have fishing, baking, yard work and more are amazing for each of them to have this time with you. From the youth at H&H to the geriatrics you all are a fountain of youth to me, your smiles, kindness and support will never be forgotten. Week one is done and we will continue to do virtual for those that don't live in KC and of course for the safety of those who need it. Thank you for those coming in for spraying your shoes down, good hygiene, masks and appreciation of how clean we are. It is the first time I can remember not having to say let's set goals because every one of you has exceeded expectations. Continue to take care of your health and for the person that walks past you that needs your leadership (or H&H's team leadership) keep kicking glutes...we love you!

As owner of His & Her Fitness I believe in having balance with h ealth. Yoga for me has been amazing for recovery. And when I started it was because I had some unnecessary stress and it helped me stay relaxed and mindful. Creative cardio has this effect as well so rock that cardio and mix in some yoga. Thanks so much!

When the Kansas City metropolitan region issued its work from home order, the working lives of many people who are used to going to an office every day changed suddenly. Mine too. The adjustment was huge and brought with it many challenges associated with keeping a large staff motivated while working in a distributed environment. The amount of stress that I experienced was directly proportionate to the many unanticipated challenges.
Fortunately for me, Christina and Mo were on hand to keep me focused on my health and well-being with virtual workouts. I was skeptical at first, thinking that these online, real-time sessions could never be as beneficial as the "real thing," but I became a convert very quickly. Christina sent me home with free weights and exercise bands. Using those items along with my staircase, a chair, and the arm of my sofa, my at-home virtual workouts very quickly became as rigorous as anything I experienced in the gym.
Of course, nothing replaces workouts in the gym with these two great trainers. But during these weeks of confinement, their virtual workouts kept me focused on my health and reduced my stress levels significantly. I am so grateful to Christina and Mo for their commitment to their clients and for making this innovative approach to fitness available to them. I owe my strength, fitness, and a good part of my sanity to these workouts! Well-done and thanks! I look forward to rejoining you in the gym soon.

I'm happy and honored to be picked as "Team Member of the month."  The term, "Team," has always been associated with the business world. In these trying times, new phrases have emerged, but the meaning hasn't changed. The new normal was working as a team while being apart. It hasn't been easy, but a lot has been accomplished.

Starting with H&H's new look. How wonderful to work in such a beautiful place.

We also have a new team dynamic. I'm happy to welcome; Jacob Crook, Ali Mallare, and Tim Foster.  I'm excited Mo Baldeh is returning.  I wish Monica and KJ good luck as they move on.
