DISCIPLING MINISTRY & MARKET PLACE LEADERS

When we gathered with our dedicated ministry school teachers and 132 enthusiastic graduates from four locations in Liberia at the end of last year, the atmosphere was electric with joy and encouragement!

The teachers & students aspire to launch a transformative one-year vocational training program aimed at empowering those called to the marketplace ministry. Imagine a program that not only instills biblical principles for running a business but also equips aspiring carpenters, plumbers, farmers, bakers, hairstylists, and party planners with the skills they need to thrive.

Our vision is to start with 60 eager students, primarily young people and women, who will be trained to become marketplace ministers and small business owners. To bring this dream to fruition, we need to raise USD 10,000 for the first year, covering essential tools, equipment, supplies, and teacher salaries—just USD 167 per student! OVERCOMERS

While the recent suspension of flights to Cuba due to a severe aviation fuel shortage presents a significant challenge, it also highlights the remarkable resilience and determination of our local partners on the ground. Although our trip scheduled for the end of this month must be postponed until the airline resumes bookings, we are excited to share that we managed to reallocate USD 1,500 worth of fuel and essential food supplies as emergency relief for the local communities. Thanks to the power banks we provided during earlier trips, we have been able to maintain vital communication with them even amidst the national blackout. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our steadfast local partners for their unwavering perseverance and faith during these trying times, embodying the spirit of true overcomers!

Many house churches in Cuba are facing the daily challenge of trekking to remote areas to gather wood for charcoal. That's why we are stepping in with a mission to equip these communities with solar power systems, drastically reducing their reliance on fuel. We have a goal of raising $5,000 to make this dream a reality! Your contribution will directly support the installation of solar systems for these churches, ensuring they have a reliable source of energy. And that’s not all – we’re also working on providing 22 church pews to seat 150 worshippers and a sound system, so they won't have to borrow from other churches during joint services anymore. These churches are active & alive!, Let’s join hands and invest toward a brighter, more sustainable future for our Cuban brothers and sisters – To prepare for the great things that is to come!

HEAVEN REJOICES

After enduring a week of rain-soaked days, last Saturday emerged as a beautiful day, drawing many to our food station. Among them was Roger, whose heart had been beautifully prepared by the Lord. When Tracy extended the invitation to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior, Roger responded with an eager and heartfelt "Yes!" As we guided him through the salvation prayer, a profound transformation took place—Roger embraced his new identity as a child of God, and his heart overflowed with joy, echoing the heavenly celebration for yet another soul redeemed.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to welcome a youth team from a local church next month, who have lovingly prepared care packages adorned with handwritten notes. This will be their first experience interacting with the homeless community, and we are excited to witness the impact of intergenerational engagement in our outreach efforts. We invite you to join us in prayer for the youth team and for all those whom the Lord is drawing to Himself.

ONE IN SPIRIT

Last month, Kam and Lisa had the delightful opportunity to travel to Indiana, where Larry and Jean resided now for our US board meeting! It was truly a blessed time filled with joy and camaraderie as we gathered in person, strengthening the bonds that unite us. We are immensely grateful to all our board members, both those who joined us physically and those who participated via Zoom, for their unwavering support and dedication to our collective vision.

During our meeting, we shared divine inspirations that God has placed on our hearts, fueling our passion for prayer-led outreach and community impact.
