His Eye Is On The Sparrow! 12/1/21
1 Corinthians 15:1-10 (KJV)
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:
6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.
7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
9 For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
10 But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.
1 Timothy 1:15 (KJV)
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
First off, I want to say that the Apostle Paul and I will need to have a SERIOUS discussion/argument on who or whoever is the “Chief” sinner-he or me!!??
In the above Passages of Holy Script, penned by the Apostle Paul, he lists the MANY and various people who were EYE WITNESSES of our RISEN Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ-OUR hope of Glory!!
As I read these sacred Words EARLY this morning, the Holy Spirit reminded me that I, too, had and have the PRIVILEGE of “SEEING” our Lord and Savior-not once, but twice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1 Corinthians 15:8 (KJV)
8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
The first time I “saw” the Lord was when my grandson Connor had dies and I was SORELY grieved.
The Lord Jesus opened my office door and sat down in the chair facing my desk and calmly said to me AND I QUOTE:
“My son, you have had a terrible life and much sorrow. If you want to quit/resign and stop preaching and Pastoring, I will forgive and understand-your wife will also as will your congregation and loved ones. You can still go to Heaven.
OR....................................
You can get up and keep going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
TWO CHOICES!!
Then He was gone.
The second time I was BLESSED to have a PERSONAL visitation/encounter with Jesus was the early morning after I had turned my beloved son into the police for his sin.
I had been up till the wee hours of the morning telling the Cobb County detectives all I knew and had gone to bed FULLY persuaded to resign my ministry the very next day.
My life was wrecked and I felt totally unworthy to continue to lead a Church-how could I, with so much sin and heartache in my personal life, DARE to call himself a Christian, let alone a Pastor???????
When I awoke the next morning, Jesus was sitting on the end of my waterbed!!!
He simply asked me a question, “WHY ARE YOU LYING HERE??
YOU DIDN'T DO ANYTHING WRONG-YOUR SON DID!!
GET UP AND PREACH MY GOSPEL!!!!!”
On both occasions I was given THE choice-
LAY DOWN AND QUIT OR GET UP AND KEEP GOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today, YOU also have THE Choice!!!!
Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)
19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
“THEREFORE CHOSE LIFE!!!”
In this RAPIDLY changing world of sin and woe, as the ENTIRE WORLD is engulfed in sin and misery-as the “news” media and the politicians spew out a CONTINUAL lie of misery and coming destruction, KNOW that Jesus is STILL king of kings and lord of lords AND........................
HE is EVER MINDFUL of each of our troubles and sorrows.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
