Employee Appreciation Baseball Game
Fence & Deck Connection employees and guests were treated to an Orioles baseball game on Saturday, April 28th against the Detroit Tigers. They enjoyed watching the game from the Miller Lite Flite Deck on the Club Level in right field. Even though the Orioles were defeated and the weather was a bit damp, the Fence & Deck Connection team enjoyed taking a break and spending time together outside of the office at Oriole Park.

Project Spotlight
Margaret's Fields, Edgewater, MD
The current owners of a historic 18th century home in Edgewater, MD reached out to Fence & Deck Connection to help them prepare for their inclusion in the Maryland Home & Garden Show hosted by the MD Historical Society. They wanted a fence installed that was authentic to the time period the house was built, 1710, and decided on a battlefield fence.
Battlefield Rail, or snake rail, is the original "split' rail fence first seen in colonial times and still in use today at historic sites like Gettysburg and Valley Forge Historic Parks. If you want the look and feel of Early America this fence is for you.
The Battlefield rail is split, not saw cut, for a true rustic appearance, and is pressure treated for longevity. Rails are 11 feet long and not tapered like traditional split rail.
The current owners are very happy with their new fence, and the project was completed before the event.
