Stop admiring greedy billionaires like Elon Musk
By Reginald J. Clyne, Esq
|
This country has a fascination with billionaires. We admire them and believe every word coming from their mouths like they were some sort of golden nectar. The reality is billionaires are not particularly smarter than anyone else, but the traits they most share are ambition, greed, and narcissism.

When Dr. Frederick D. Haynes III, of Friendship-West Baptist Church, announced 100 Days of Buying Black in acknowledging the 100th Commemoration of the Tulsa Race Massacre, a year ago, we joined the movement. December 31, 2021, marked 100 days of featuring Black Businesses, and we decided that the struggle continues and we must also. So enjoy reading about more Black-owned businesses and please support. We're still going strong today and we also received recognition from the National Newspaper Publishers Association for our efforts!

Miss Me, But Let Me Go – When I come to the end of the road, And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little, but not too long, and not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared – Miss me but let me go.

The Path
As we walk through life's journey, we leave footprints. Some just show where we are going. Others redirect us when we get lost. Still, others remain to guide those we leave behind. I see your footprints.

MY TRUTH
Just bring some LOVE
|
By Cheryl Smith
Surely we know we are still living through a pandemic. There are challenges, obstacles and roadblocks that will cause us to face, overcome and pivot. We also know that in spite of what is going on in life, we must continue to live until we take that last breath. You’ve heard people say before, “I don’t know how I can live without _.” Well, guess what, although there are painful days ahead and some are tough, we still manage to live on; until it is our time to transition. We have definitely had some tough times over the past two years and in order to navigate through all the drama, we have to do the time and not let the time do us!
