HoPe Announces Virtual Programming Until January 2021
July 20th, 2020, Atlanta
HoPe (Hispanic Organization Promoting Education), Inc. has officially stated that all after-school programming will continue virtually until January 2021. This decision to go virtual until January 2021 places the safety of all our students, advisors, team members and families as our #1 priority.
This decision comes at the heels of the successful 2020 Virtual HYLS, where HoPe hosted student leaders from 66 high schools (2 states) in its 10th edition of the program (first ever virtual).
"The 2020 Virtual HYLS gave us a glimpse of the power of virtual programming. Together, we believe that this move to go virtual will unlock the opportunity to reach more students, meet them where they are at and empower their lives, families, and communities."
~ Angela Hurtado, Co-Founder
Being an after-school program, over the next few weeks we will layout a detailed plan on how we will provide innovative and life-changing programming to students from our local 66 chapters, and beyond.
We believe we have the team, structure, and experience to model the way for a new look into effective virtual programming. Stay tuned for additional updates.
