On August 7, we recognize Emancipation Day and celebrate the strength and perseverance of Black communities. Join us for a flag raising in Ken Whillans Square, then spend the afternoon in Gage Park and experience the sights, sounds and tastes of the Caribbean with food vendors, live performances and more!

Gore Meadows Activity Hub is Now Open!

Enjoy Brampton’s newest fully accessible hub featuring basketball courts, an artificial turf playfield, outdoor fitness areas, an outdoor seniors area, splash pads, and more. This project is phase one of the Gore Meadows Master Plan. Phase two includes the development of Gore Meadows East Community Park (targeting completion by 2025).

Civic Centre Library Now Closed 

Brampton Library will be reopening Chinguacousy Branch Library in the Chinguacousy Park Ski Chalet in August. The Civic Centre location and both materials-return drop boxes closed permanently on August 1.
