The Midway Chamber has released the following two statements.
ICE Statement
The Midway Chamber of Commerce believes immigrants are essential to our communities and we stand with employees, employers, and neighbors as they confront unreasonably aggressive enforcement tactics of federal immigration enforcement agencies. We urge Midway business owners to educate themselves and their employees about their rights and stand ready to assist in that effort. We call on elected officials to enact a national immigration policy that unites rather than divides and ask officials treat people with respect and dignity.
THC Statement
The Midway Chamber of Commerce recognizes the promise and importance of the THC industry to our economy and opposes the new federal law that hinders the growth of this industry. Stifling federal laws designed to cripple the THC industry will result in job losses and business closures throughout Minnesota and the United States. We stand by the THC industry.

Women Take the Lead:
All-Women Brewing Team Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 with Special Release Beer
Team Nevertheless, a Minnesota-based, all-women brewing collective dedicated to elevating female voices in the beer industry, is crafting a limited-edition beer in celebration of International Women’s Day. To be brewed on January 9th under the direction of Shaena Leik from Dual Citizen Brewing Co., this project reflects the team’s ongoing mission to bring forward and uplift women in brewing.
Founded to challenge the traditionally male-dominated craft beer world, Team Nevertheless has spent the last few years cultivating a space where women in the beer industry can innovate, collaborate, and thrive. Through shared expertise, the team has crafted not only a series of exceptional beers, but also a supportive network that encourages women at all levels of the brewing industry to take part and succeed.
This release embodies the collaborative spirit of Team Nevertheless, blending creativity and technical skill in a way that reflects the team’s values of collaboration, inclusion, and excellence. Each batch serves as a testament to what can be achieved when women in brewing come together to craft something meaningful, both in flavor and in impact.
In keeping with Team Nevertheless’ commitment to uplifting women beyond the brewhouse, the project also partners with Our Justice, a Twin Cities based nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Throughout the month of March, Our Justice will help support this release through community engagement and awareness efforts, reinforcing the shared belief that empowerment, advocacy, and collective action is essential to creating lasting change for women everywhere.
Team Nevertheless’ International Women’s Day release is a symbol of progress and empowerment in the brewing industry, demonstrating how intentional collaboration and leadership can inspire change. The limited-edition beer will be available on tap at Dual Citizen Brewing Co., on Saturday, March 7th and the community is invited to join in celebrating the women who are shaping the future of craft beer.

For more than two decades, Joe Spencer has engineered growth and vitality in downtown Saint Paul. As the first president of the Saint Paul Downtown Alliance, Joe works across public and private sectors to build a strong, vibrant downtown and create a positive experience for visitors, residents, and workers alike. Under his leadership, the Downtown Alliance has created the Downtown Investment Strategy to align public and private investment priorities, partnered with property owners to establish the Saint Paul Downtown Improvement District and its clean and safe services, founded the Downtown Development Corporation to advance catalytic development projects, and activated the streets with hundreds of free events, public art installations, and more.

Cancellations should be received via formal written notice with as much advance notice as possible. Those forced to cancel at least 5 days prior to the event may choose one of these options:
- Receive a ticket credit which can be used for future chamber events, pending chamber approval (excluding Midway on the Fairway). The cancellation credit will be valid through Feb 5, 2027.
- Choose to convert your ticket purchase to a 100% tax-deductible contribution to the Midway Chamber of Commerce.
