IC Bus unveiled the IC Electric Bus chargE™, its new electric CE Series concept school bus developed with its alliance partner, Volkswagen Truck & Bus. The chargE was designed to give customers a zero-emissions school bus option while lowering the total cost of ownership and offering user-friendly options and features with diesel-like performance. The company unveiled the chargE at the 2017 National Association for Pupil Transportation Annual Conference and Trade Show, and expects to launch its first unit as early as 2019.

Allison Transmission Warranty Comes Standard with 7 Years for all IC Bus® Vehicle Orders, Covers all Powertrains, Including Gasoline and Propane

LISLE, Ill. – December 14, 2017 – IC Bus announced that it will continue to offer the industry’s best standard warranty on all bus orders—including gasoline, propane and diesel—that includes 7 years, unlimited miles for the 2018 calendar year on Allison 2300/2350/2500/2550 Pupil Transport Series™ (PTS) transmissions.

Building on last year’s extension of the Allison Transmission Warranty to 7 years, unlimited miles, IC Bus will continue to offer customers a 7 year, unlimited miles warranty that comes standard on the 2300/2350/2500/2550 PTS series delivered by Allison to IC Bus starting January 1st, 2018.
