With the spring weather that we are experiencing, we have started spring landcaping cleanup. The Management Team along with our new landscape vendor are working together to implement the best plans for the upcoming landscaping season. Please watch for updates. In the meantime, some reminders:
- Regular irrigation lines are starting to be inspected. We follow the City of Lehi guidelines on when to regularly schedule the watering and right now, they recommend between April 15 and May 1, but to be conservative in watering (weather pending).
- The maintenance crews are now in the community weekly as of April 1st. All sod, shrubs, and trees are being evaluated.
There are several areas within Holbrook Farms that are maintained by the City of Lehi, in which they have chosen to plant Utah Native Grasses. This includes the Holbrook Farms Park. To report a concern regarding native grasses, please do so on the the Lehi City Website.
A few facts about native grasses:
• Take 3-4 years to fully mature
• Hold moisture longer
• Stabilize the soil to protect against weather.
As always, if you have any concerns about anything that you are seeing with your yard or in the common areas, please feel free to reach out to the Management Team at info@myholbrookfarms.com and we will work with you and the landscape team to address the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and look forward to a great landscape season!
