April = Spring Landscape Startup

landscaper_gasoline.jpg

With the spring weather that we are experiencing, we have started spring landcaping cleanup. The Management Team along with our new landscape vendor are working together to implement the best plans for the upcoming landscaping season. Please watch for updates. In the meantime, some reminders:

  • Regular irrigation lines are starting to be inspected. We follow the City of Lehi guidelines on when to regularly schedule the watering and right now, they recommend between April 15 and May 1, but to be conservative in watering (weather pending).
  • The maintenance crews are now in the community weekly as of April 1st. All sod, shrubs, and trees are being evaluated.

There are several areas within Holbrook Farms that are maintained by the City of Lehi, in which they have chosen to plant Utah Native Grasses. This includes the Holbrook Farms Park. To report a concern regarding native grasses, please do so on the the Lehi City Website.

A few facts about native grasses:

• Take 3-4 years to fully mature

• Hold moisture longer

• Stabilize the soil to protect against weather.

As always, if you have any concerns about anything that you are seeing with your yard or in the common areas, please feel free to reach out to the Management Team at info@myholbrookfarms.com and we will work with you and the landscape team to address the issue as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and look forward to a great landscape season!

Quarterly Assessment Reminder

As a reminder, Quarterly Assessments are due on January 1, April 1 (today!), July 1, and October 1. Please watch for the statements and assessments notices and take a moment to review and update your accounts if needed.

There have been changes to the Assessment Amounts owed starting January 1, 2025. Please refer to your statement for the updated amount. The 2025 Approved Budget is available for your reference on the website: www.myholbrookfarms.com and you must be a registered Homeowner to view the community financials.

Please ensure your payments are set up to be received before the 10th of the month. Payments can take several days to process, and late fees are assessed on the 10th. To avoid any additional charges, we recommend scheduling your payments in advance as late fees are not eligible to be waived.

NOTE: To view your account balance and update any contact information, please register with the Homeowner Portal through the Holbrook Farms website.

All account access and set up information can be found on the Holbrook Farms website: www.myholbrookfarms.com/assessments

If you need assistance with setting up payments or have questions, please reach out to info@myholbrookfarms.com and we are happy to help!

Sign up for e-statements by visiting the URL code on your statement! Simply follow the link to enroll and help the association save on postage costs. Thank you for choosing a convenient and eco-friendly option!

Architectural Application Process

As spring approaches, our outside to-do list gets longer and longer. As a reminder, all changes to the outside of the home and the yard need to have approval from the Design Review Committee first. More details can be found on the website: myholbrookfarms.com/designreview.

Applications can take some time to get approved depending on the scale of the project. So plan on a minimum of a couple of weeks from submittal to approval.

Parking Reminders

The City of Lehi prohibits parking along City Streets November 1 until March 30 between 10 pm and 7 am. During a snow storm, it is illegal to park on any street. You can check out more information on the City of Lehi website here.

Overnight Parking within the Benefited Neighborhoods is prohibited on the streets. In neighborhoods where there are open parking spaces, these are reserved as open parking on a first-come, first-serve basis and should not be used as permanent overflow parking for residents. Please be mindful of this and respectful of your neighbors. You can check out the Governing Documents on the website for more information: Rules and Regulations

We Love Our Pets!

With the beautiful scenery surrounding our community and the parks within our neighborhoods, it is great to see all of the pets out and about.

Friendly reminder to pick up after these pets-the common areas belong to everyone and there should never be any pet waste left for others to discover.

Proper Trash Can Storage

As a friendly reminder, please ensure your trash cans are properly stored and not visible from street view after collection days. Keeping them out of sight helps maintain our community’s clean and welcoming appearance.

Let’s all do our part to keep our community looking its best. If you have any questions or need suggestions on storage solutions, feel free to reach out.

We also want to give a big shout-out to those who consistently store your trash cans properly—thank you for setting a great example and contributing to our neighborhood's curb appeal!
