February 2025 Edition

VALENTINE'S DAY IS FEBRUARY 14

Did you know? In the 17th century, people started exchanging cards and letters with their significant others and friends. The first mass-produced Valentines didn’t arrive on the scene until the 1840s. Known as the "Mother of the American Valentine," Esther A. Howland sold cards with lace and ribbons that commercialized Valentines in America.

ANNOUNCEMENT!

After careful consideration, Holbrook Farms is excited to announce that we have a new landscape vendor, Millburn Lawn and Landscape, starting on February 1. Management and Board of Directors went through the careful and thorough process of bidding out services, evaluating the needs of each neighborhood and considering budgets before making this change. Millburn will handle all contracted snow removal and landscape services.

Educational communications will be sent out in the coming months to inform all residents of the landscape schedules and expectations. We are excited to welcome Millburn to our community!

Snow Removal Reminders

A few reminders about snow removal:

Management keeps a close eye on the dispatching of snow removal and works closely with the vendor to be sure that Holbrook Farms is safe and that we are keeping in mind the budget for snow removal.

The dispatch of snow removal happens to our neighborhoods after the main roads and emergency roads are cleared. The City of Lehi is responsible for snow removal on all City roads-marked by Green City of Lehi street signs.

Where the Association is responsible, the roads, shared driveways and common area sidewalks are covered in the scope of work. The services are not dispatched until after at least 2" have fallen and/or the storm has ended. In cases where the snow accumulated will melt in the afternoon, there may not be any removal taking place.

On the day of a storm, any questions or concerns can be sent to info@myholbrookfarms.com and will be addressed as soon as possible. During stormy days, watch for any updates sent out through email to the community.

Parking Reminders

The City of Lehi prohibits parking along City Streets November 1 until March 30 between 10 pm and 7 am. During a snow storm, it is illegal to park on any street. You can check out more information on the City of Lehi website here.

Overnight Parking within the Benefited Neighborhoods is prohibited on the streets. In neighborhoods where there are open parking spaces, these are reserved as open parking on a first-come, first-serve basis and should not be used as permanent overflow parking for residents. Please be mindful of this and respectful of your neighbors. You can check out the Governing Documents on the website for more information: Rules and Regulations

We Love Our Pets!

With the beautiful scenery surrounding our community and the parks within our neighborhoods, it is great to see all of the pets out and about.

Friendly reminder to pick up after these pets-the common areas belong to everyone and there should never be any pet waste left for others to discover.
