Think Christmas...
So many events are scheduled in our wonderful little town! Next up will be our Guitar Summit celebrating the guitar in Virginia's History...Our Christmas Market is scheduled for December 6-8, with the Christmas Parade Friday evening of Dec 6. We will have a Santa here during the Market ready for photographs, and he is pet-friendly! Ho Ho Ho and don't forget New Year's Eve with Steve and Penny Kilby's (family friendly) New Year's Eve Pickin' Party and Possum Drop! Find out more fun things on our website . A Guitar Summit
Celebrating 400 years of Guitar in Virginia's History

We will be dedicating The Gerald Anderson Lutherie this weekend AND a rare donation of Wayne's #35 Guitar, his first walnut guitar built in 1976. (Maybe get Wayne to pick on it a while?) Also, our Junior Appalachian Musician Room will be dedicated to the memory of Helen White, founder of the JAM program.

Also! A rare gathering of Guitarists, Luthiers and Music Historians. 8 rooms of music, performances, handmade instruments and more!

Saturday November 23 from 10am - 5pm and Sunday November 24 Brunch 10am at Holston Hills with Wayne Henderson & Friends
Sunday Sessions and Demonstrations 12:30-3pm

Beginning Pottery with Cheryl Bess:
Wednesday's in Nov. 1-3 pm
 This is a five session workshop on 4 Wednesday afternoons, with a glazing class on the 5th Wednesday, Dec 11. Clay is a wonderful stress relief and our new studio is awesome! Cost including clay and supplies is $95.

Knowing that you won't create just one, Barbara offers this Candy Cane weaving project and supplies for an additional two ornaments, all for $45.00!

Dance The Cha Cha with Nellie
Thursday's from 7:00 pm-8:00 pm
Join Nellie Hicks for her next dance class and learn to "Cha Cha". Not only is it fun to learn, it is amazing exercise! Nellie will be offering classes every Thursday and you can join at any time! No problem if you miss one or haven't had lessons before, everyone is at different levels of learning. Nellie will spend 3-4 weeks teaching one dance and then move on to the most requested.

Don't worry if you don't have a dance partner, come and have a great time learning to dance. Cost is $10 per week, please bring cash or check! Click here to RSVP (or just show up on Thursday's at 7pm)

Private Paint Parties
Looking for something different than an ordinary Christmas Party? Wondering what to do with all that family visiting for Thanksgiving?Have a Christmas Paint Party! We ask that you have AT LEAST 6 participants (or a minimum of $150, which is $25/ea for 6 people). If you have a particular painting you would like to do, let us know! Contact us for available dates and time.
Watercolor Saturdays
Join Catherine Schrenker on Saturdays from 10-1 for Open Studio Watercolor Class. Cost of the class is $10 and all supplies are included. There will NOT be watercolor on Saturday, Nov 9, Nov 23 (Guitar Summit) or Dec 7 (Christmas Market). We WILL have class Thanksgiving Saturday Nov 30.
Letterpress on Saturdays
Once you take a formal workshop you are free to sign up for "Open Studio" which is offered to those that are comfortable in the shop to work on their own projects on their own time. 
Cost for "Open Studio" is $35 for all supplies and you can pay when you arrive. Check Calendar
