"Holiday Concert and Gathering"

featuring the Colchester Choir & String Quartet

The Colchester Choir & Orchestra was started by conductor John Ringo and his wife Cheryl in 2001-2002. The group's members range in age from 10 to 70 and hail from many towns including East Haddam. From students to professional music teachers, the CCO is a true community group! The choir will sing traditional holiday carols and other versions too!

After the concert, join us for treats and refreshments to celebrate the holiday season!

Moodus Noises Captured on Museum's Seismometer!

Did you feel the rumbling on Wednesday evening, November 20th? Many residents reported hearing the Noises and feeling the movement of the 2.5 magnitude earthquake in Moodus. We captured the image and the data on our seismometer, donated by Yale University! Channel 3 and 30 visited the Museum and interviewed Dr. Karl Stofko and John Bielot.
