| | Chapter Holiday Event Results | |
This year's Chapter Holiday Event was held at Singing Hills, Willow Glen Course. We had 82 players turn out in their festive attire. It turned out to be a wonderful summer day in the winter; it actually got hot and all the snow melted!
Golf was followed by a festive afternoon that included a luncheon, opportunity drawings, silent auctions, awards, and recognition of our members, sponsors, and the board.

The Game of the Day was the
"Ornament Game."
Each foursome was a team in which each player was assigned a specific color and played their ball on every hole. After each hole, the foursome would proceed to the basket of ornaments at the next tee to look at the two colors to determine which two team members' scores would be recorded for the team's score on the prior hole. If you happen to have had a "bad" hole, you just hoped it wasn't your color!!!
And yes, the two colors picked were just "usually" the two worst scores on the prior hole..... or so everybody said!!!

SPECIAL THANKS TO CATHY WRIGHT
who was awarded the
Eagle Effort Recognition Award
| | |
Cathy Wright was given the "Eagle Effort Recognition Award" for all the ways in which she has contributed to the Chapter over the years, in particular 2025.
Cathy has contributed in so many different ways: as Event Captain, Communications Director, President, Midweek Events Coordinator and in countless other ways.
Jen Faye was not able to be present at this event due to travel, but wrote of her gratitude and admiration for Cathy for stepping up to return to the President's role while Jen battled cancer. Cathy was able to lead the board during 2025 as well as help out at a myriad number of other events, including running the monthly midweek golf events. The Chapter is so grateful and truly lucky to have you as one of our members. THANK YOU CATHY!!!!!
